Make it a special Mother’s Day this year by including one or more of these 10 Great Mother’s Day Recipes in your celebration.
As much as I truly love to plan menus and cook for my great big family, it’s a heckuva lotta work, isn’t it? I realize this each and every time I’m in the heat of battle – aka, cooking a holiday meal. No matter how much planning goes into it or how experienced the cook, it’s a BIG job to produce those elaborate meals. Even the day to day task of feeding a big family can be exhausting work. In many homes this work is done by Mom and this Sunday is the day to let her know how much her work is appreciated by pushing her out of the kitchen!
I hope that if you are reading this you’ve got something special planned for a special Mom out there. It’s heartwarming to think of all the love that will be happening in the kitchens around the country as families work together to do something special for the women that do this work on a daily basis.
This is a great collection of Mother’s Day recipes for the not so experienced cook. Fresh fruit salads, baked egg dishes, and some totally mouthwatering pastries. Most of the dishes are exceptionally easy to prepare and all are completely delicious and just perfect for a brunch in honor of Mom.
