I’m beginning to feel it in the air. Regardless of the fact that we are still having days in the 80 degree range here in California, there is a cool, crispness to the air that lets you know fall is here. We are just around the corner from the chilly evenings that compel me to get a big pot of chili going on the stove and bake things with pumpkin, cinnamon, and spice.
I love the change in seasons. Going from tank tops and flip flops to sweaters and boots. It’s time to cover up the grill and move all of the cooking back in to the kitchen.
I’ve put together a collection of some of my favorite recipes for this time of year. I’ve included lots of quick and easy weeknight meals as well as some lazy Sunday suppers. Main dishes and cozy soups to warm you up and desserts that capture the flavors of the season. And, last but not least, it wouldn’t be fall without roasted pumpkin seeds so be sure to check out my recipe including my tried and true method for perfectly roasted seeds every time.

Oh lots of delicious recipes you got here. I really had enough of this summer torcher or should I say, torture. 🙂 I can’t wait for that beautiful fall breeze to set in with falling leaves. Well, I hope you are having a beautiful week, Valerie! 🙂
Agree, I definitely feel autumn when I wake up in the morning and night when the temperature drops. It’s been cold! Daytime is still around 70F and feel great, and hope this will last as long as possible… I know all the holiday things are exciting but I’m not ready for cold rainy winter yet. xD
I love your roundup. Going to check it out. I know I’ll find some nice recipe for upcoming week. 🙂
I love fall and the warm, spiced foods that come with it! Tonight we are having an apple crisp. Fall is about the only time I ever make anything with apples!
What a GREAT fall roundup! I can tell I’ve missed a few! Headed to check them out!
All of these recipes sound wonderful! Fall is definitely showing signs here as well. I’m looking forward to being able to make warm creamy soups, stews and using the oven a lot more!
