You may have heard me singing the praises of Gastrolux Cookware over the past several months. There is a good reason for this. I’ve been using and absolutely LOVING this cookware since I received my first pan back in July. I’ve reached for that pan more times than I can count and there’s evidence of that in many of the posts I’ve published since then.

As we know, quality in cookware comes with a price tag but after trying these pans, I know it is an investment that will pay off in years and years of use. AND, I’m happy to share some exciting news. Gastrolux, a Danish company, is entering the U.S. market and for a limited time they are offering some pretty amazing  price cuts on these pans as they introduce themselves to the American market. I mean, these are some serious price cuts, people. Go check it out for yourself HERE. In addition, if you order by December 31, they will offer a free high-dome Pyrex glass lid for each pan you purchase if you mention From Valerie’s Kitchen on checkout.

Let’s take a look at the pans I currently have in my kitchen.

A Gastrolux nonstick saute pan.

My very first Gastrolux pan quickly became my favorite. The 11″ doubled handled Saute Pan. After using this pan for several weeks, I knew I had to have another so I ordered the 12.5″ version of the same pan (pictured above). It’s roomy enough for me to make enough to feed my whole brood, easily.

Things I adore about these saute pans:

  • The non-stick finish is unbelievable. You only need to add fat for flavor, no joke. The pans are seriously non-stick which also means clean up is a breeze.
  • The double handles mean two things – easier storage in my already crowded cupboards and these pans can go straight from stove to oven for my many beloved one pot meals. They are oven safe at temps up to 500 degrees F.
  • Durability galore. Both the pan and the domed glass lid are of superior, heavy duty quality.
  • Even heat distribution. This might sound like a strange one but it was something I noticed immediately upon using the pan the first time. The heat from the stove is distributed evenly even in the very large pans, which means food cooks at more even rate. If you try one of the pans you’re going to notice and love this about them right away.

So, since these saute pans were ALL THAT, I decided it was time to branch out.

A deep Gastrolux roasting pan.

This is my 12.5″ Roasting Pan. This is the perfect big pan for cooking up soups, stews, and chili or roasting whole chickens. I do a lot of that so this pan is going to get a workout. I’ve already put this pan to use several times and it has ignited my love for this cookware even more.

Next up on my wish list.

A Gastrolux skillet.

The Fry Pans. I’d like to start with the 8″ and the 10.25″ and go from there. Eventually, I’d like to replace all my non-stick fry pans with these phenomenal quality pans.

A Gastrolux grill pan.

The Grill Pan. Oh joy! Grilled cheese, grilled fish, grilled chicken, grilled steak, all on this fabulous non-stick surface. Yes please!

I’d love to hear from you if try the cookware. I’m so happy with mine!
