3cupsCorn Chexor a mixture of Corn, Rice, and/or Wheat Chex
3cupsmini twist pretzels
2teaspoonsdried dill weed
1-1/2teaspoonssaltplus additional if desired
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Toss together Chex, pretzels, nuts, and oyster crackers in a large mixing bowl. Combine vegetable oil and melted butter in a small bowl and add garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, parsley and salt. Stir to combine well. Pour over snack mix and toss until well combined. Transfer to a large rimmed baking sheet and bake for approximately 30 to 35 minutes, gently stirring about half way through the cooking time. Remove from oven when oyster crackers appear toasted and light golden brown. Taste and season with additional salt if desired.
Store in an airtight container.
Feel free to omit ingredients and sub others. Just be sure the measurements remain the same. Here are some other ingredients you might like to consider.
Cheese crackers (Cheez-Its or Goldfish) Cheerios Bugles Bite size bagel chips Sunflower or pumpkin seeds (shelled)
Want to add some heat? Add a little hot pepper sauce to the seasoned butter and oil mixture.
