These simple tips will help you make perfect easy to peel hard-boiled eggs every time!
Servings: 1 dozen
  • 1 dozen large eggs
  • Water
  • Ice
  1. Place the eggs in a single layer in a large pot. Cover with about 2" of cold water. Place pot over high heat and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and cover the pot. Let the pot sit, covered, for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, fill a large bowl about halfway with ice water.
  3. Transfer the eggs to the ice water, adding more water, if necessary, to be sure they are completely immersed. Let them sit in the ice water bath for 15 minutes. Eggs will be cool and ready to use immediately, or refrigerate until needed.
