Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed or about 2 to 3 teaspoons fresh dill, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Assorted fresh vegetables (choose what looks pretty at the store - carrots, celery, broccoli florets, cauli florets, snap peas, radishes, cherry tomatoes, etc.)
  • In a small bowl, combine all the dip ingredients. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the dried onion to soften and the flavors to blend.
  • Stir well before serving and adjust seasoning with additional lemon juice, salt, or pepper, if needed.
  • Serve chilled with assorted fresh vegetables.

Notes

Yields about 1 ⅓ cups dip.
Store leftover Vegetable Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Stir well before serving.
