- ¾ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoons dried minced onion
- ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed or about 2 to 3 teaspoons fresh dill, minced
- ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 to 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Assorted fresh vegetables (choose what looks pretty at the store - carrots, celery, broccoli florets, cauli florets, snap peas, radishes, cherry tomatoes, etc.)
In a small bowl, combine all the dip ingredients. Stir until smooth and well blended.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the dried onion to soften and the flavors to blend.
Stir well before serving and adjust seasoning with additional lemon juice, salt, or pepper, if needed.
Serve chilled with assorted fresh vegetables.
Yields about 1 ⅓ cups dip.
Store leftover Vegetable Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Stir well before serving.
