- 12 ounces fresh green beans trimmed
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons less sodium soy sauce or tamari for gluten free
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- sesame seeds optional garnish
Partially Cook the Green Beans
Stir Fry
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over MEDIUM-HIGH heat. Add the green beans, and cook. stirring, for 2 minutes. Add the soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, garlic, and honey. Reduce heat to MEDIUM and continue cooking and stirring 2 to 3 minutes, or until the green beans are fork tender. Be careful not to overcook.
Serve right from the pan or transfer them to a serving bowl with all of the sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving, if desired.
