Years ago, my husband gave me THE best Mother’s Day gift I’ve ever received. Diamonds? Nope. A trip to Hawaii? Nah. It was a little Meyer lemon tree that he’d planted in a pot in our backyard. I’ve come to love those lemons more than I can tell you. It’s a small tree but quite prolific and has inspired some truly incredible recipes, including the Lemon Yogurt Poppy Seed Bread you will see in the collection below. Meyers are sweeter and juicier than the standard variety and I use them for all of my lemon recipes. If you can get your hands on them, do it!
