I’m in disbelief that we are a week away from Memorial Day Weekend. When we had high-schoolers in the house our lives revolved around the school calendar. Holiday weekends were a huge deal and we were literally counting down the days until summer vacation. Our school year here ends the first week of June so that summer feeling really hits as we head into Memorial Day. Since our youngest headed off to college, we are far less aware of the calendar. But, bam! Here we are! And, it’s A-OK with me. I’m ready for a day off and SO ready for summer!
