Since the sun was shining and the temperatures have been unseasonably warm this week, it was time for Bridget to get her first taste of sun, sand, and waves.
Although California is known for it’s beautiful weather, trips to the beach in January are not typical. But on this day, it was all blue skies and 76 degrees of gorgeousness at the dog-friendly beaches of Half Moon Bay. We are lucky to be a 45 minute drive away from this view.
Bruno took the lead to show Bridget how it’s done. He’s a veteran.
Bridget followed along but as you can see by her expression, she’s not sold yet.
“I was perfectly comfortable at home on the couch. Why on earth have you brought us to this strange place?”
But, in the end, she discovered she’s a California girl at heart. I see lots of chillin’ at the beach in her future. Next time, surfing! Or maybe just some digging in the sand and a game of fetch?
She is so cute! She is Boston Terrier, right? I hope I could have a dog and take my dog go out. Living alone and don’t get home until very late can’t have one.
Bridget is adorable! I remember our hot winter last year – it was crazy! I think my Kiwi and Bridget could be friends 🙂
Wow, she got big in a hurry, that one did! Very cute, love what I like to call her “Hitler mustache”, I know, not PC, but my Pekingese has one too, don’t know what else to call it!
Her growth has astounded me! Now, she just needs to grow into those ears 🙂
C’mon ~ all this water and sun and that funny stuff twixt one’s paws!! What is a girl supposed to think!! OK, OK, I’ll be good and ‘grin’ next time around – [Perhaps it was quite nice actually???]. Lucky you to find such weather to take ‘young madam’ for a stroll ~ it sure seems that she is the third piggie in the trio, ’cause it has been too cold or too hot just about everywhere else!!!
Oh my cuteness!! Valerie, she is so cute and what a beautiful beach! Gorgeous 🙂
