A very cute Boston Terrier puppy.

This sweet baby girl joined our household a couple of months ago. Shortly after she came home with us, I put this picture of her out to the world via Facebook and mentioned we were having trouble choosing a name. I was overwhelmed with the response! I received over 500 comments including hundreds of name suggestions. I read each and every one of those comments and appreciate so much all of your sweet and thoughtful words. I almost feel I should compile and publish the list of names that was generated through that post. We decided not to rush into a name and instead took a couple of weeks to let her settle in and to get to know her before choosing.

We first met her when she was just 3 weeks old. There was something about that face that made me know she was ours.

She was our pick out of an extremely cute and rambunctious litter. I wanted to take them all!

About a month after our first meeting, we returned to pick her up and bring her home. She ran at us like she knew she was ours. Straight for the shoelaces.

My husband is a “get down on the floor with the puppies” kind of guy. An absolutely necessary quality in a man, as far as I’m concerned. We stayed for a bit to visit with her siblings, then it was time to take her home to meet her new family.

First up, Bruno. Hello new friend. Mind if I share your blanket?

Next, Boy #2’s girlfriend. She’s nice and she lets me chew on her hair.

I have a good feeling about these two.

Time to meet Boy #2. I think I like the look of this guy.

But, maybe there’s room for one more.

Grandma is so nice but for some reason, sitting in her lap makes me very sleepy.

And, finally…Boy #4 returned from college. He must have come home just to meet me!

So, what should we name this beautiful creature? We thought long and hard on it…

…we slept on it.

And, then out of the blue one day it just seemed obvious.

So, what are you going to name me? Huh? What’s it gonna be?

Welcome to the family, Bridget.

Really adorable and cute dogs, very lovely!

What a beautiful little girl you adopted. Looking at your pictures reminded me our our beautiful BT “Dutchess” when we adopted her 13 1/2 years ago. Sadly she died a few weeks ago after several years illness and we miss her so much. Enjoy your little Bridget and her big brother, Bruno. BT’s are wonderful loving, loyal dogs.
